Who am I?
My name is Dan Shin, and I am the main photographer for Fluence Photography!
My passion as a photographer comes from a life-long obsession with making things. From a young age, I have always tried to manipulate objects and materials to create something unique, and different, but beautiful to my eyes. I find that working with camera is a way for me to connect with my creative side. The simple act of shaping light, objects, and bodily poses to make something beautiful brings me endless satisfaction.
2015 was when I first picked up a professional DSLR camera. My passion started with travel, street, and nature photography and transitioned into portrait, event, and sports photography which involves people. I have been deeply in love with capturing faces and moments that speaks through the photo. Freezing a moment, capturing everything you were about at that very moment in time is something that sparks excitement in my mind.
I had the pleasure of working with models, singers, musicians, athletes, bodybuilders, healthcare professionals, lawyers, and entrepreneurs throughout my career to capture their essence, and portray who and what they represent in a photo.
I genuinely enjoy getting to know people from a variety of settings, laughing over jokes during photoshoots, and connecting with people person-to-person even after the shoot. So please, shoot me a message if you just want to chat!
